Air-tow Trailers Breaks Ground on $6.8 Million Manufacturing Expansion
WAPAKONETA, Ohio — Air-tow Trailers has broken ground on a $6.8 million
expansion of its manufacturing facility in Wapakoneta, Ohio. The 76,000-square-foot addition will increase production capacity and improve manufacturing efficiency as the company responds to growing demand for its ground-level loading trailers across North America.
Once complete, the expansion will bring Air-tow's manufacturing footprint to more than 114,000 square feet. The additional space will support increased production, improve workflow throughout the facility, and help the company deliver trailers to customers more efficiently.
"This investment is a direct response to the growth we've experienced over the past several years," said Nick Kennedy, CEO of Air-tow Trailers. "Demand for Air-tow trailers continues to grow, and this expansion gives us the capacity to support that growth while making our manufacturing operation more efficient. We're investing in our people, our facility, and our ability to continue building high-quality trailers right here in Ohio."
The expanded facility will also provide room for additional equipment and future manufacturing improvements as Air-tow continues to grow and expand its product offerings.
Construction is currently underway, with completion expected in May 2027.
