The North American Trailer Dealers Association (NATDA) is a member-based, for-profit association supporting the light-to-medium-duty trailer industry.  NATDA hosts two annual events, The NATDA Trailer Show and The Trailer Tech Expo Powered by NATDA; a year-round virtual education program, a bi-monthly magazine and a variety of member benefits.  

 

NATDA’s Operations Manager will take on the role of managing the association’s conference program, virtual events, as well as several key programs related to events and membership.  This individual must have trade show and/or conference planning experience (minimum 3 years), including familiarity with hosting webinars or virtual events.  Experience within a membership association is a plus.   Eye for detail, strong organizational skills, being tech-savvy and adherence to deadlines and budget are a must for this position. 

 

Conference Program:  

  • Work with Director of Membership on development of content and solidifying of speakers for the conference program which is run in-person at both of NATDA’s annual events 

  • Once content is finalized, take over the conference program to oversee logistics 

  • Speaker Management from contract to execution onsite 

  • Schedule content/speakers accordingly to rooms available 

  • Build out room sets for convention center 

  • Work with audio visual and catering to place orders as needed for sessions 

  • Oversee onsite program:  

  • Schedule & manage all temporary labor needed including onsite conference manager when necessary 

  • Manage Speaker Ready Room 

  • Manage Audio Visual and Catering partners for all applicable sessions 

  • Post-Show: 

  • Provide session attendee lists to all speakers 

  • Review survey data to assist in future planning  

 

Webinar Program: 

  • Work with Director of Membership on development of content and solidifying presenters 

  • Manage webinar software (currently Vimeo) 

  • Speaker Management from contract to virtual execution; including at least one trial run prior to live session 

  • Work with Marketing Dept on promotion schedule for webinars as well as sponsor and NATDA-related slides needed for each session 

  • Co-host and/or manage live webinars alongside Director of Membership 

 

Certification Program: 

  • Support the Technician Certification Program  

  • Manage LMS (Learning Management System) 

  • Ensure system is up to date with course content 

  • Lead liaison with customer support for any technical issues 

  • Manage CE tracking and certificate production 

  • Ensure both LMS and AMS are up to date with CE hours for each technician 

  • Ensure certificates and other materials are distributed upon completion of hours for each technician 

  • Lead liaison for technicians regarding CE tracking 

 

Registration: 

  • Main liaison to registration company for badge registration for both of NATDA’s annual events 

  • Work with team to set a realistic timeline for development, implementation and execution of registration opening 

  • Lead on build/set up/testing of online registration program 

  • Oversee registration process and ensure all is running smoothly throughout registration window 

  • Send out regular reports to the team on registration status 

  • Onsite: 

  • Schedule all temporary labor needed 

  • Oversee bag stuffing area 

  • Oversee and execute onsite build 

  • Supervise onsite area throughout event 

  • Post-Show: 

  • Produce all final reports needed  

  • Ensure all writeback to AMS is complete 

  • Run post-show meetings with staff and registration company to identify any areas needed for improvement 

 

Membership Support: 

  • Lead contact for day-to-day membership customer service in relation to registration 

  • Manage new member/renewal onboarding process 

  • Maintain monthly birthday report and emails 

 

Other duties as assigned.  This position will require travel, at least twice a year, for both of NATDA’s annual events.   

NATDA is owned by Trifecta Collective LLC and is supported by a small, but mighty team.  Team members work together on the association’s mission to provide the best possible benefits to its members.  This position’s salary will begin at $58k with incentives.  A generous PTO and benefit plan, including 401k are available to its employees.  The NATDA office is based in St. Petersburg, FL. This is a remote position with several in-person meetings throughout the year in St. Petersburg. Qualified candidates local to the Tampa Bay area may be considered first.
