Scott Yates

Scott is the co-founder of Smokey Mountain Trailers. He oversees the daily operations of three full-service trailer dealerships in East Tennessee with his brother Ted. For over 20 years, the business has contributed to their community. Hailing from an entrepreneurial family and leveraging extensive experience in sales and management (including 10 years in the automotive industry), Scott’s transition from corporate professional to business owner was a natural one. His customer centric strategies, risk management experience, and extensive product knowledge have helped solidify Smokey Mountain as an industry leader. When asked, Scott credits God’s providence and hard work for his company’s success, which has enabled him to support his true mission of helping others.
