Jake Aschendorf

Jake has worked in the automotive space for the last 23 years both in retail dealerships and at ADP/CDK Global. He started in 1995 at one of the largest family owned automotive dealerships in sales and quickly raised to the management ranks. In the early 2000’s he was instrumental in the creation of the dealership’s 1st website, 3rd party leads and the eCommerce sales process. In 2009 he joined the ADP/CDK Global team, working both on the DMS and Cobalt businesses selling SaaS solutions to auto dealerships. Now with Dealer Spike, Jake is focused on helping dealerships in other verticals get up to speed with the digital marketing world most automotive dealers have been immersed in for years.

Sara Hey

Energetic, personable and competitive – these are just a few of the adjectives that describe Sara Hey of Bob Clements International. 

In 2011, Sara joined the BCI team to help build social media and marketing efforts.   Soon after, she began to taking on the management of special events such as GIE +EXPO and the BCI Manager Boot Camp. 

Today, Sara also assists with the daily operations and product development at BCI. Working with companies in the OPE, AG, Power Sports and Trailer industries, she oversees the development of customized training programs for their dealers.  And, in keeping with the mission of BCI, she consistently works to create new training materials and programs that can be delivered to dealers in affordable and accessible ways.

Sara is an engaging and commanding speaker and will share proven ways to help you gain and retain exceptional employees.  She is passionate about helping see small businesses achieve success.

Sara is a graduate of North Park University where she earned a degree in Psychology.  After living in Chicago for several years, she and her husband, Austin, now reside in Liberty, Missouri with their three daughters.  In her spare time, Sara likes to participate in marathons, read and spend time with her family.

Steve Whittington

Executive Vice President /// Flaman Group of Companies

Steve Whittington is a leader in the mountains and in the business community.  An avid mountaineer he has reached the summit of 49 mountains, including Mount Everest in 2013.  On many of his climbs he has been the expedition leader and/or lead climber.  Steve believes his leadership in the mountains has a direct application to successful leadership in his business life. 

Currently Steve is Executive Vice President for Flaman Group of Companies, an award winning organization.  He is also Managing Director of a boutique digital agency Graphic Intuitions and serves a Director for a meal prep internet startup Mealife.com.  Steve was also an instructor of Project Management at Lethbridge College for seven years.  Steve holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree; he is a Certified Sales Professional (CSP), Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Marketing Specialist (CMS).

Steve has served on many non-profits boards; and is currently serving as treasurer of Glenora Child Care Society and on the Marketing Program Advisory Committee for NAIT’s JR Shaw School of Business.

Steve believes because of internet age and information available to customers we are now in the “Age of the Customer”.  As organization leaders we have access to incredible amounts of data about our businesses and our customers.  Organizations need to focus their efforts on becoming truly 100% customer centric in order to survive and thrive in this new age.  They can do that by capturing the right data and applying it efficiently and effectively.
