Weld & Non-Weld Positions - Aluma Trailers

Position Summary

• Aluma Trailers is seeking both weld and non-weld positions at its Bancroft and Emmetsburg locations. The company is looking for motivated people with a consistent work history and the ability to work on a team.

Position Responsibilities

• Attention to detail
• Welders: Use a MIG welder to build/prepare aluminum trailers using drawings in the set-up, middle and/or finish capacity.  Install axles. 
• Non-Weld: Complete all aspects of wiring requirements based on trailer model including tail/brake lights, tag lights and electrical connections.  Install required decals and hydraulic components.
• Fabrication: Comprehend and complete work orders and kanbans by description.
• Comprehend and follow checklists, masters and prints
• Conduct all work in a safe manor, including use of a hoist, step stool and hand tools. 
• Maintain housekeeping and 6s of area
• Follow all Aluma Safety and Company policies and procedures including the use of all required PPE.
• Maintain all Aluma quality standards including; recognize parts issues and defects so they can be corrected
• Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Experience Required

• High School education or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret documents.
• Ability to effectively communicate and work well with coworkers.
• Ability to multi-task and be flexible in a changing environment
• Must be able to read a tape measure and any other necessary measuring devices.
• Must be able to successfully complete the Physical Capacity Profile (PCP) to required standard
• Must be able to successfully complete a Pre-employment drug screen.
• Previous experience preferred but not required, we will train the right candidate
