Jesse Battle Thanks You, Trailer Industry!
Written by Jesse Battle
Dear NATDA members,
When the opportunity to work in the trailer industry fell upon me twelve years ago, I had no inclination as to the absolute pleasure the experience would entail. Throughout the last decade, my admiration for those within this unique, ever-changing industry has grown with each person I have met. However, a new challenge awaits.
I will be moving out of my home state of Florida and across the country to Arizona - to embark on a new chapter in my life outside of the industry I have grown to love.
To our dealer members, it has been my honor to work both for and alongside you. I leave this association believing my time brought new ideas and innovations to the industry that has strengthened independent trailer businesses across the United States and Canada. I hope that I have helped create an association of which you can take pride and believe in.
To the multitude of people I have worked with from our manufacturer and vendor members, thank you. Without your constant and generous support, my time at this association would have been far less remarkable. While I was unable to work with many of you as closely as I would have liked, I appreciate both the commitment and confidence you placed into our association.
I am grateful for the faith my colleagues and this industry placed in me and I feel that, with our collective efforts, I can leave with my head held high. I have no doubt that NATDA President Andy Ackerman, Vice President Amy Ackerman, Director of Operations & Events Andria Gibbon, CEM, Director of Sales Karen Anderson and Director of Marketing Corey Langley will continue to take this association to new heights in the years to come.
The only regret of my tenure is that I will be unable to welcome you all into Nashville, TN for this year’s long-awaited show and personally shake the hands of each and every one of you.
Thank you for your hospitality, your dedication, and your enthusiasm, but, most of all, thank you for you giving me the opportunity to serve you.
I look forward to seeing what the next chapter holds for both myself and this association. I cannot wait to see the Trailer Show from a guest’s perspective at some point in the future.
