Olney, IL (June 1, 2017) – Olney, Illinois manufacturer Imperial Trailer Manufacturing announced a new addition to their lineup of trailers: a souped-up version of their very popular Splitfloor Lowboy dubbed the “H.D. Edition”.
Imperial took its most popular model and combined it with their most popular heavy-duty options to create the perfect, rugged working trailer. As a test product, the H.D. Edition received overwhelming enthusiasm, flying off lots at alarming rates.
This 22’ Splitfloor model has a GVWR of 18,000# and an 82” inside clear floor width with 5’ of stationary deck in the front and 17’ of tilt. An extra-long 20” dovetail brings the trailer all the way to the ground when tilted. The 3/16” floor plate and a beefier 3” tie rail make this trailer heavy enough to haul just about any equipment and tough enough withstand even the roughest employees. Imperial also developed a single-latch system to lock and unlock dual latches for the tilt from the driver’s side.
As with all their standard Splitfloor models, consumers will get a variety of great features already included: Heavy Duty Tread Plate Fenders built in-house, Stake Pockets and Tie Rail, Cushion Cylinder, all LED Lights, Aluminum Rock Guards and more.
