Indianapolis, IN (September 15, 2017) – GEN-Y Hitch has been getting a ton of notoriety as of late. That trend continued at the 2017 NATDA Trade Show & Convention in Indianapolis last week, as they took home the 1st place award in the new product showcase category with their Gooseneck Torsion Suspension Coupler.
“At the beginning of last week, we were notified that we made it to the top 10 in the SEMA Launchpad competition”, said GEN-Y owner Carl Borkholder. “That is a huge honor, and going into NATDA, after placing 3rd in the new product showcase last year, we certainly were hoping to do well…but this is just humbling. I am so proud of our entire team!”
The GEN-Y torsion hitch, released in 2015, is a torsion variety of their drop hitch system. The Gooseneck Suspension Coupler uses the torsion system, but is made for gooseneck towing. GEN-Y says that it mitigates up to 90% of the inertia between truck and trailer, which they say is not just a game-changer, but a new game altogether!
“We really just want to keep innovating,” said National Sales Manager, Joel Helmuth. “GEN-Y Hitch’s vision and the resulting products that have been created have been able to help so many people. It really inspires us to keep bringing new products to market.”
The GEN-Y Torsion Gooseneck Suspension Coupler is available for an MSRP of $899.99. It has a 25,000 lb towing rating, with a 5,000-lb tongue weight.
