Augmented Reality use in trailer business ?

Hello All,

I posted a couple message in this forum regarding marketing of trailer & RV. I would like to continue in 2011.

Have you ever consider using augmented reality to promote your business or your product line ? Is it an interesting oppotunity or is it unadapted to your clients profile ? Whay is your thought on this issue ?

You do not know what augmented reality is, visit

Plan to use Data Matric or QR code

Hi,

Do you plan to use Data Matrix or QR code in your next marketing campaign ?

For the ones who really do not know what I am talking about, read here

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QR_code

Do you think these codes can give after hours customers the opportunity to find information about any trailer in your dealership's trailer lot. It seems to be in use in automotive industry.

Cheap Advertising For Your Dealership

Memo: "Copying" Somebody is Not Cheating: It's Smart.

My Dear Friends,

"True Stories Sell Cars." It is an adage that I heard for the first time almost a decade ago; when I first stepped into the car industry. Since that time, I have had many trials, tribulations, and triumphs to form my own truths about the tactics and techniques necessary for sales success. In this letter, I want to share with you some insight about a true story I heard that has profoundly impacted my career.

Social Networking

Is anyone using social networking such as Facebook or LinkedIn for their company? I know some of the Vendors/Mfg are using them. Wondering if it has enough hits/readership to do one.

Is business picking up?

I have been watching reports from the RV industry as many of their retail shows are now starting. They are reporting very good traffic, and actual sales starting to happen.

What is going on in your area?

Taking Trailers on consignment

Are you taking trailer on consignment? What type of form do you use to check the trailer when it comes in, and what do you have your customers sign to CYA.

Typically what d you charge on consignment sales? 10%, or a flat fee? How long do you keep a consignment trailer? What if the customer sells it on their own, do you still get a fee?

Print-Friendly Form = Faster Trailer Entry

We've added a new print-friendly form to our Member Management Console (http://www.trailersusa.com/mmc) that has all the fields found on the trailer entry form page. This gives dealers the ability to print the form, go out to the trailer they want to enter, fill out all the info while standing there at the trailer and then go to your PC and enter in all the info. Actually, you could have your receptionist enter in all the info and you can get back to selling your trailers!!

Let me know if you have any questions.

Manage Your Trailers In ONE Spot

After 11 years of helping dealers with their online inventory management, I know how long it takes to update your inventory, especially if you have it listed on your website plus multiple other classified websites. The amount of time you spend in front of your PC can really add-up depending on how you are listing your trailers on your website and what other websites you're listing them on.

We have a system in place that gives you the freedom to enter and manage your trailers in one place, TrailersUSA.com, and then we can display those for you on your website and then send them to other trailer classified websites for you each night. What a huge time-saver this is!!

We have trailer feeds setup to HorseTrailerWorld.com and HorseTrailerTrader.com currently.

What other websites do you list your Trailers For Sale on?

Call or email me for the guest login to our Online Trailer Manager so you can see how easy it is to use.

Circle M Trailers in Texas has a new website

Circle M Trailers in Texas has a new website design: www.circlemtrailers.com

We built them a custom website, implemented our trailer inventory pages into the design along with featured units on their homepage and topped it off with our SiteSource tool. SiteSource gives them the ability to manage the content on the non-inventory pages that we setup for them and add new pages whenever they want.

Congratulations Rachel and the entire team at Circle M Trailers!!
